I was looking for a long mat that I could workout on and not have to slide around or touch the floor. It is sooo comfortable and easy to use. The plastic smell the others had mentioned was faint, and went away after the first time I used it and it aired out. VERY WORTH IT!!!

I am so excited to finally have enough mat to practice!! As a 6'1" woman, I was resigned to practicing on a short mat and just moving around to avoid falling off. Not anymore! I absolutely LOVE being able to lie down fully and still feel mat under all of me. Veru good purchase, and the mat is great quality. My only beef is that when people get taller, we also need the mat to be a little wider to accommodate certain poses--I'm finding the Fixed Firm Pose rather tricky with the width of the mat. But I'm so thrilled to have the length that I'll overlook that. My other complaint is the 'boy' colors with the long mat--girls are tall, too!! So please add some cute girl colors!

I am over 6' and needed a longer than normal mat for yoga. This mat is perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone over 5'10". I am a first-timer in yoga and I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would have been to use a regular size mat.
