Really small pack - well madeAug 24, 2010
By Thor Albro Just got this and this is what stands out: 1) 2 good sized water bottles and holders. 2) Extra padding - this is a fanny for serious walking without chaffing. 3) The actual pack part (pocket?) is really small and will fit maybe a camera and sunglasses and that's it. 4) Not much else in the way of pockets other than a few little net things for a cell phone or something. 5) I am 37" waist and the strap just barely spools out enough for me - if you are thicker than 38" think twice about this one.

It's what you see in the photoNov 05, 2009
By Jack Straw What you see is what you get. It's well made, comfortable and fits my 40" waist. I wish there was a bit more pocket room, fits my Canon S5is in the main compartment with no room to spare. A couple of small pockets on the sides for keys, wallet, glasses and that's it. If that's all you need room for it's perfect. Recommended

Smart moveApr 11, 2010

I purchased this lumbar pack to add to the one I already owned. I thought to try the open box special and was pleasantly surprised at both the speed of delivery and the condition of the item. The pack was in excellent condition and turned out to be exactly what my wife and I wanted. Now we each have a pack to carry while hiking on the CO mountain trails near our place there.
Hiking companionJan 02, 2012
By Ruediger K Schmidt I use the product when hiking and walking without having a backpack on me. It works well. I use other larger bottles, but they fit.
good hydrationDec 26, 2011
By Charles Cox This is really nice for hikes not sure it would be so good for a jog as nothing across the top to keep the bottles from falling out except the strap around the middle of the bottle which I don't think would do the trick. It is traditional Mountainsmith quality - excellent. I recommend for hiking and walks not for running though. I bought it used from Amazon and when I got it, it looked brand new with all tags. I have bought a few used items from Amazon that said like new, and they were right each time. Like new is the way to go with Amazon as it saves a little more money, has the tags and original packaging at least for everything I have bought, and you can't tell the difference from new.
