I bought this for my 1/4 inch yoga mat. Fits fine, not tight at all, but not too roomy either - just the right snug fit.
Upon opening the package, I was at first shocked by how cheap it looked. It's made of canvas-like material with a section of mesh in the middle, so you can see the mat inside. There is an adjustible strap handle, and a small pocket inside for keys, maybe even a small thin wallet.
Even though it looks cheap, it's functional and works for the purpose intended, so I was happy with this purchase and my initial impression did not last. I think it's the best value for your money -- if you want something simple, and somewhat stylish, with the different colors available. I would purchase this again.

I purchased the larger Yoga bag and posted on this forum because people complained it was too "tight" for their 1/4 inch mat. Well if you read the description it said it will be a "tight fit"; if you want something with a little more room; get the larger mat which is what I did and I'm very pleased.
To those people who are complaining; read the description. I purchased the larger bag for my 1/4 inch mat and it fits perfect.

I purchased this bag with the extra thick 1/4" mat and the fit is a little snug but still a great fit all in all. the inside pocket is very handy

Well, you get what you pay for. This yoga bag really does serve its purpose by holding my yoga mat but now what do I do with my keys, wallet, water bottle, etc. For the price it is really not that bad but after buying this I got myself a bag on oGorgeous' website and that is the bag I would much more recommend if you are willing to spend some money on the bag. There website is [...] and I am able to fit the mat without struggling as well as everything else I want AND my new bag is so cute!

This large yoga mat bag was perfect to carry mat that I purchased for my son for his birthday. He had only requested the extra long yoga mat (as he is very tall), but to make his birthday present even better I purchased the yoga mat bag in his favorite color. He is able to carry his yoga mat around to stretch anywhere!!! He is very pleased with the bag!!!
