When I am traveling lightly and all I need is my yoga mat.
This product has been great.
It holds the mat firmly and I can easily take it to work along with my other personnel items.
It is lightweight and perfect for an on the go yogi.

First, Amazon sent this product, which was part of a holiday gift, to my home instead of to my gift address. When it came, it was wrapped in plastic and I quickly sent it to my friend. She reported it was broken and unusable. She had to buy velcro, and will need to take this product to a shoe repair store or something to get fixed. For the price, it just wasn't worth the trouble to pay to send it back. Plus, Yoga Accessories is now spamming me with frequent unwanted emails to buy more of their crappy products. Don't waste your time with this company or this product.

As a guy, I really like this strap.
A better solution for me to carry my mat without a bag.
This strap works well with my thicker mats.
I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want to carry a yoga bag.

Bogus reviewsDec 11, 2009
Looking through the previous reviews for this yoga mat strap, it's obvious that they are bogus. Four 5-star reviews were written on the same day, October 12, 2009, and if you look at the "other reviews" for each of those reviewers, they don't have any. These are the only reviews they have ever written. This product may be fine, I don't know, but buyer beware.

I haven't seen any other reviews for this product, but I really like what I got in the mail. It is sturdy and carries my mat easily from place to place. I would recommend this to all my friends.
